童禅福,浙江省淳安县人,中共党员。1970年毕业于浙江农业大学,后分配到常山县广播站任记者。1984年调到浙江人民广播电台,先后任记者和驻杭州记者站站长。现任浙江广播电视厅总编室副主任。童禅福同志最大的特点是,对工作,对他人的事,对采访对象,对人民都有一股火一般的热情和高度的责任感。1987年8月14日上午,他路过某地正遇上亨得利钟表店起火,就立即冲进火场抢救国家物资,大火扑灭后,他不忘记者职责,穿着浑身湿透的衣裤连忙进行现场采访,仅用40分钟就写出了目击新闻
