2001年3月上旬的一天,笔者专程赶到“全国科技兴海示范区”闽南东山岛,采访了目前我国南方最大的陆上工厂化牙鲆育苗与养成基地。这个基地位于美丽的宫前湾海滨,一踏入大门,只见场内停放着来自广东汕尾、深圳、福建宁德、福清等地的10多辆活水车,技术人员正指导30多位职工,分别将一个个内装每条约半kg重的成品鱼或鱼苗的塑料袋灌满氧气后,放进泡沫箱再装上汽车;在室内一口口规格化的养成池和育苗池里,成千上万尾的牙鲆争先抢夺刚投下的饵料,掀起阵阵小浪花……
