This article describes the design and implementation of a real-time ship collision avoidance expert system. The system applies expert system theory in the field of navigation to describe the domain knowledge of ship collision avoidance and has the function of continuously judging the situation of the target in real time, avoiding the decision of the scheme and verifying the effectiveness of evasion. The actual use of the system proved that its reasoning results and the basic opinion of experts.
