The new building of the Bank of China in Hong Kong, which was designed by the architect Pui Tseng Ming, was a 70-story building with four pyramids made of glass and metal. The two towers were gray. Granite facing square base (see Figure 1). The four glass triangular prisms are close to each other and their heights are different. The building shape is transformed from the lower cube into four unequal triangular combinations (see Figure 3), forming a polyhedral structure with a staggered hierarchy, tower tops. The pin on the needle is up to 315 meters. The unusual appearance of the tower is the result of the idea of a new structure (giant structure). The new building has a floor area of approximately 107,100 square meters (excluding the basement), and its upper office area varies from floor to floor, between 2,576 square meters and 745 square meters (the plane is reduced from four triangles to a triangle) to meet the needs of different owners of the office. Different needs. The building envelope of the tower consists of aluminum plates and silver heat reflecting glass. The two floors of the base are gray granite. The space structure of the tower and the base are combined at the lobby floor, where all the loads of the superstructure are transmitted.
