预计一期计划将于2017年完成的珠港澳大桥,从提出设想之初就备受世人瞩目。一旦大桥通车,将横贯东西、连贯珠港澳三地,“一小时”生活圈和“三小时”经济圈将从梦想变为现实。随着21世纪海上丝绸之路战略的实施,横琴自贸片区建设,能否把握这一历史机遇,对于香港而言更是意义重大。而占地约150公顷的港珠澳大桥香港口岸人工岛,被港府认为是挖掘“桥头经济”的第一站。
The Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macau Bridge, which is scheduled to be completed in 2017, has drawn the world’s attention from the very beginning. Once the bridge opens to traffic, it will traverse the east and west and run through the three places of Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao. The “one hour” living ring and the “three hours” economic circle will turn from dreams into reality. With the implementation of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road strategy and the construction of Hengqin Free Trade Zone, it is even more significant for Hong Kong to grasp this historical opportunity. The artificial island, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Hong Kong Port, which covers about 150 hectares, is considered by the government to be the first stop to tap the “bridgehead economy.”
