在极低温(-196℃)下,用(60)~Co γ射线照射了含水量约为13%的水稻干种子。发现冷冻处理时M-植株成活率、幼苗高度和结实方面的损伤,均明显地小于未处理的对照。M_2代叶绿素及抽穗期的突变频率并未因此受到影响,采用较高剂量结合冷冻处理,可以显著地提高突变频率。还发现,M_2代不育或半不育突变体的频率,在冷冻处理中显著地低于未冷冻的对照。
At very low temperature (-196 ℃), the dry seeds of rice with water content of about 13% were irradiated with (60) ~ Co γ-rays. It was found that the M-plant survival rate, seedling height and seedability at cryogenic treatment were significantly less than those of untreated controls. M_2 generation of chlorophyll and heading frequency of mutation has not been affected, using higher doses combined with freezing treatment, can significantly improve the mutation frequency. It was also found that the frequency of M_2 generation of sterile or semi-sterile mutants was significantly lower in the freezing treatment than the non-frozen controls.
