由于粉煤灰硅酸盐砌块是采用振动成型,带模养护工艺,所以必须配备大量钢模。如我厂砌块车间设计年产量18万立米,配备有钢模1400多套,需钢材1600多吨。所以,现在应该本着节约钢材的原则,积极研究钢模的型式和结构,设计一种既能符合生产质量要求,又能少用钢材的钢模。近几年来,福建、江苏、云南、四川等省的砌块厂,试用了立模代替目前的平模生产砌块,估计可以比平模节约钢材20~25%。还有一些中小城市的砌块厂也制造了各种不同结构和型式的立模投入生产使用。
