In the early 1960s, a Japanese artist delegation visited and I was borrowed for translation work while working in the Foreign Ministry. The membership of this delegation is relatively high and has a great impact. After courtesy to visit Comrade Guo Moruo, the reception unit also requested Premier Zhou to meet with them. Premier Chou said he was willing to meet these Japanese friends, but recently he was too busy to withdraw from the country and proposed that President Chen, who is about to return to China, give his job. On the evening of the day when Mr. Chen returned to Beijing, the reception unit hosted a banquet on the newly opened Japanese restaurant “Breeze” in the newly opened Dongfang Market in Wangfujing.
