Reading instruction is an important part of basic English teaching and it is also the key to improve students’ ability of applying English knowledge. In fact, students ’reading and comprehension levels are relatively poor, which is not conducive to improving students’ ability of examinations, nor is it conducive to students ’cultivation of English literacy, nor is it conducive to a substantial increase in students’ reading proficiency.
