(一) 地震波在介质中的传播速度是地震资料解释处理的重要参数。速度参数包含着有价值的地质信息,因此,获取速度参数始终是地震资料处理的中心问题之一。多次复盖技术广泛应用以来,大大提高了对速度参数的要求,提出了在连续测定的基础上,进行大量可靠速度观测的客观要求;而近年来,高速数字计算机的应用以及地震数字处理技术的发展,则为实现大量计算及自动速度分析提供了有效的物质手段。由于速度参数的重要性,速度分析已成为地震信息处理中心的基本分析程序。
