南京市农垦农工商总公司坚持“安全第一,预防为主”的方针和“管生产必须管安全”的原则,“七五”计划期间全面动员,狠抓整改,通过上下齐抓共管,不断增强了各级领导的安全意识和职工的自我保护意识,从而使各项措施落到实处,在安全生产管理上取得了显著成效,1989年至1990年未发生一起死亡事故和重伤事故,连续两年被市政府、市安委会评为“达标单位”和先进单位,并受到农业部农垦司的表彰。
