王澍其人王澍,1963年生于新疆,1985年获得南京工学院(现东南大学)建筑系本科学位,三年后从该校硕士研究生毕业。毕业后,他到当时的浙江美术学院(现中国美术学院)从事旧楼改造及环境与建筑关系的研究。2000年获得同济大学建筑城规学院建筑设计与理论专业城市设计方向博士学位,现任中国美术学院建筑艺术学院院长、博士生导师。王澍喜欢箫管,擅长书法和山水画,执着践行中国本土建筑学理念,享有“中国最具人文气质的建筑家”美誉。与始终追随国际潮流的建筑师不同,王澍更加注重的是现代与传统、人工与自然的平衡。
Wang Shu Wang Shu, born in 1963 in Xinjiang, obtained a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Nanjing Institute of Technology (now Southeast University) in 1985 and three years after graduating from a master’s degree in the university. After graduation, he went to the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Art) to engage in research on the relationship between old buildings and the environment and architecture. In 2000, he won a doctorate degree in urban design from architectural design and theory major of Tongji University. He is currently Dean and PhD supervisor of Architectural Art Institute of China Academy of Art. Wang Shu likes flute tube, good at calligraphy and landscape painting, perseverance practicing the concept of Chinese native architecture, enjoy “China’s most humane architectural style ” reputation. Unlike architects that always follow international trends, Wang Shu pays more attention to the balance between modernity and tradition, man and nature.
