介绍了当今西方世界三大发动机公司在研制新型发动机中采用的提高发动机可靠性、维修性、耐久性及经济性的设计、分析及试验技术和方法。如采用并行工程，发展衍生型发动机，采用Ｒ＆Ｍ设计与分析技术，严格进行整机振动试验、航线耐久性试验……，贯彻发动机结构完整性大纲等。
The design, analysis and test techniques and methods for improving engine reliability, maintainability, durability and economy adopted by the three major engine companies in the western world today in the development of new engines are introduced. Such as the use of parallel engineering, the development of derivative engines, the use of R & M design and analysis technology, rigorous machine vibration test, route durability test ... ..., implement the engine structural integrity outline.
