报道1950～1990年间Roswell Rark癌症研究所治疗的53例肾上腺癌病人,其中男性30例(57％),女性23例(43％),中位年龄51(21～75)岁。 32例原发于左肾上腺,19例原发于右肾上腺,2例同时累及双侧肾上腺。全部病人都有阳性家族史。 最常见的症状为背痛、腹部及其他部位肿块、腹痛。高血压和体重减轻也较常见。自首次出现症状至确诊的平均时间为21个月(中位时间8个月)。19例(36％)病人有内分泌异常表现。 确诊时,6例(11％)属Ⅰ期,7例(13％)为Ⅱ期,11例(21％)为Ⅲ期,29例(55％)为Ⅳ期。
Reported 53 cases of adrenocortical cancer treated by the Roswell Rark Cancer Institute between 1950 and 1990, including 30 males (57%) and 23 females (43%), with a median age of 51 (21-75) years. Thirty-two cases were primary in the left adrenal gland, 19 cases were primary in the right adrenal gland, and 2 cases involved bilateral adrenal glands. All patients have a positive family history. The most common symptoms are back pain, abdominal and other lumps, abdominal pain. Hypertension and weight loss are also more common. The average time from first symptom onset to diagnosis was 21 months (median time 8 months). Nineteen patients (36%) had endocrine abnormalities. At the time of diagnosis, 6 cases (11%) belonged to stage I, 7 cases (13%) were stage II, 11 cases (21%) were stage III, and 29 cases (55%) were stage IV.
