京郊玉米年播种面积约300多万亩,麦茬套种玉米目前仍占重要地位.套种玉米上玉米螟发生危害情况如何?应当如何进行防治?是值得研究的.本文综述1974～1978年的研究结果. 顺便指出,京郊玉米螟种类,经全国玉米螟协作组及我们自己的研究,已经明确优势种为亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis(Guenee).欧洲玉米螟Ostrinia nubilalis(Hubner)仅有极少数量存在.因此,本文所述玉米螟发生规律,实为亚洲玉米螟发生规律.
