我参加淮海战役刚结束,1949年1月,就从淮海战场奉命赶赴至三野十兵团政治部宣传部任秘书。4月我在参加渡江战役,解放常州、无锡、苏州,五月解放上海后,仍回到苏州十兵团政治部宣传部驻地。不久奉命去苏州各大专院校和中学,动员知识青年参加十兵团的青年干部训练大队,还动员他们报名投考华东军政大学南京总校。从此,我和华东军政大学结下了不解之缘。
I participated in the Huaihai Campaign just ended, in January 1949, from Huaihai battlefield was ordered to rushed to San Ye Shi Corps Propaganda Department of the Political Department secretary. In April I participated in the battle of crossing the river and liberated Changzhou, Wuxi and Suzhou. After liberating Shanghai in May, I still returned to the Propaganda Department of the Political Department of the 10th Corps of Suzhou. Soon was ordered to go to all tertiary institutions and secondary schools in Suzhou, to mobilize young intellectuals to participate in the Corps of young cadres training brigade, but also mobilized them to apply for examination of East China Military and General University Nanjing. Since then, I and East China Military and Political University made a bond.
