On the occasion of commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the development of China’s computer industry, the National Seminar on the Development and Application of High-end Microcomputer Software (PC) was grandly held on May 22 at Nanjing Institute of Technology. The meeting was held on the eve of the upcoming opening ceremony of the China Association for Science and Technology Association (CASAC), which was presided over by the State Council’s Leading Group for the Promotion of Electronics (“National Computer Conference”) and approved by the Central Secretariat. From the country’s industrial and mining enterprises, government departments, military units, education, scientific research and other 98 units, more than 130 participants, to exchange their high-end microcomputer performance development, application and other aspects of theoretical research and practice of the results achieved by the participants
