回顾一年多来中国无线宽带市场的风风雨雨,让人无限感慨。在运营商和设备厂商高度热情的支配下,中国 WLAN 布点建设已经完成了初步的跑马圈地运动;在中美贸易的大环境下,WAPI 这项国家标准是从此胎死腹中永不见天日,还是会有重见阳光的那一天,至少到目前为止没有人能够给出确切的答案。有人说,也许正是这种不确定性,让运营商放缓了在 WLAN 道路上高歌猛进的速度。换言之,WAPI 之争及其结果,不论其是是非非,至少它给了正在全速奔跑的中国运营商一个稍加休息的机会,让它们能够在近乎疯狂的情绪中停下来,作一短暂的冷思考,反思一下过去是不是跑得太快了,方向是不是有些许的偏差。
