他是出生在马来西亚的第三代华裔,却对祖国和故乡有着深厚的感情。他是澳大利亚的一位职业医生,却长期为华人社团的组织建设奔走呼号。他是海外华人中引人注目的中华文化和中华文明的传播者。他是建立澳中友谊的积极倡导者和推动者,并为之做出了巨大的贡献。他常常告诫自己和亲朋好友:中国是龙的故乡,我们是龙的传人,我们的根在海南。他,就是澳大利亚华人团体协会主席、澳洲中国和平统一促进会常务副会长、澳中奥运促进会会长、澳大利亚新洲海南同乡会会长吴昌茂先生。
He is the third generation of Chinese born in Malaysia, but has deep feelings for his motherland and his hometown. He is a medical doctor in Australia, but has long been a sign of organization for the Chinese community. He is a preacher of Chinese culture and Chinese civilization among overseas Chinese. He is an active advocate and promoter of establishing Australia-China friendship and made great contributions to it. He often warned himself and his friends and relatives: China is the hometown of dragons, we are the successors of dragons, and our roots are in Hainan. He is the chairman of the Chinese Association of Chinese Associations in Australia, the executive vice president of Australia China Peaceful Reunification Association, the chairman of Australia-China Olympic Games Promotion Association, and the chairman of Australia Xinzhou Hainan Association.
