党的十六大提出的全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标,为我们今后的工作指明了前进方向,同时对领导干部的素质也提出了新的更高的要求。如何进一步提高领导干部的综合素质?我认为要注重以下五个方面。一、要注重政治鉴别能力的培养。“一定要讲政治”作为一个重大原则,是党中央几代领导集体的一贯思想,也是我们党的优良传统和特有优势。新时期领导干部必须注重政治鉴别能力的培养。一要有坚定的政治立场。政治立场问题,简单的说,就是“相信谁,依靠谁,为了谁”的问题。作为领导干部,必须讲党性、讲原则、讲立场,任何时候,任何情况下都要坚定共产主义信念,坚持党和人民利益至上,做到对党忠诚,紧跟党走,听党的话。二要坚决执行党的方针、政策。中国共产党是中国的执政党,
The goal set by the 16th CPC National Congress in building an overall well-to-do society has pointed out the direction for our future work and put forward new and higher requirements on the qualities of leading cadres.
