有多少年了,只要一提起修辞学来,人们往往会立即想到陈望道的名字。他的巨著《修辞学发凡》,正是在近代中国创立这门学科的开山之作。听说他曾在复旦大学中文系开过这门课程,可惜的是我在母校上学时,陈校长已经不再授课,我自然也就无法聆听到他在这方面的教海了。不过每逢重大的集会,陈校长那些风趣和诙谐的讲话,在经过了几十年的风霜雨雪之后,还依旧能亲切和有味地回忆得起来。
How many years have passed, as long as rhetoric is mentioned, people often immediately think of Chen Wangdao’s name. His masterpiece, “Rhetoric,” is precisely the pioneering work of this discipline in modern China. I heard that he had taught this course at the Fudan University Chinese Department. Unfortunately, when I was in my alma mater, Chen Changtuan stopped teaching and I naturally could not listen to his teachings in this area. However, during the major rallies, President Chen’s witty and witty remarks can still be recalled, kindly and tastefully, after decades of ups and downs.
