Epidermal growth factor (EGF), a substance Cohen extracted from mouse submandibular gland in 1962, is believed to be closely related to the differentiation and proliferation of normal human and cancer cells. The authors examined the appearance of EGFR during the healing of oral mucosal wounds. Fifty male 3-week-old mice were sacrificed and 45 of them were resected 2mm, then 5 rats were killed at 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 30 days respectively. Routine histological sections, HE and immunohistochemical staining, microscopic examination. Histological examination results showed that on the 1st day after trauma, no occlusion was found on the tongue surface. The wounds were covered with necrotic tissue, with a high degree of neutrophil infiltration and capillary hyperplasia and granulation formation. On the 3rd and 5th day, the wound was narrowed. But no lockout. The wounds were completely covered by epithelium after 7 days. 9 ~ 15d seen with the first 7
