[本刊讯]建设部1996年8月29日以建外[1996]495号文向各省、自治区、直辖市建委(建设厅),北京市政委、计划单列市建委,直辖市、计划单列市、省会城市房地产管理局发出《关于开展一九九六年世界住房日活动的通知》,全文如下:1985年12月第四十届联大确定,每年十月的第一个星期一为“世界住房日”(WorldHABITAT Day).今年10月7日是1996年的世界住房日,庆祝的主题是“城市化、公民的权利与义务和人类团结”(Urbanization,Citizen-ship and Human Solidarity).
