抒情诗之于歌德,是由经历、机遇而创作的直接表达,为此,歌德本人找出一种标志,即他将自己的诗称为“应景即兴的诗”。作为艺术门类,歌德的抒情诗创作较之于其他艺术门类,更直接、更真实地反映出歌德的精神特征。歌德的抒情诗作为一个整体包含着歌德、代表着歌德,因为这类诗出自诗人天性中最本质之处,是其创作和精神存在———往往处于求索、嬗变之中———的直接表露。
