为了进一步推动我国大学英语教学,适应国家改革开放的需要、使学生更加重视英语口语学习,获得较强的英语口语交际能力,经教育部主管部门批准,全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会于1999年5月29日在全国八所重点院校进行了第一次大学英语口语考试,受到了参考学校广大师生和学校行政部门的高度重视和大力支持。参加大学英语口试的八所重点院校是:北京大学、中国人民大学、北京航空航天大学、北方交通大学、上海交通大学、复旦大学、南京大学和东南大学。在有关院校的大力支持下,这次大学英语口语考试试点工作进展顺利,效果良好。
In order to further promote college English teaching in our country and adapt to the needs of national reform and opening up, students should pay more attention to spoken English learning and obtain strong oral English communication skills. Approved by the Ministry of Education, the National College English Test Classes IV and VI passed the examination in 1999 On May 29, 2008, the first oral examination of college English was carried out in eight key colleges in the country. It was highly valued and strongly supported by the majority of teachers, students and school administrative departments of the reference school. The eight key universities that participate in the college English oral examination are: Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, North Jiaotong University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Nanjing University and Southeast University. With the vigorous support of the relevant institutions, the Pilot Oral English Test has proceeded smoothly and has achieved good results.
