中山市广播电视大学创办于1982年春。1990年,中山市政府为整合教育资源,将中山电大与中山学院合并,两块牌子一套人马合并办学。1995年,经广东省高等教育局批准,正式命名为中山市广播电视大学。2002年12月,中山市广播电视大学与原中山学院分离,独立办学。2003年9月,在市政府有关部门的大力支持下,中山市广播电视大学顺利完成校舍修缮工程,迁入新校区。
Zhongshan Radio and Television University was founded in the spring of 1982. In 1990, the Zhongshan municipal government for the integration of educational resources, the Zhongshan University and Zhongshan Zhongshan University merger, two sets of a brand of people combined with the school. In 1995, approved by the Higher Education Bureau of Guangdong Province, it was officially named as Zhongshan Radio and Television University. December 2002, Zhongshan Radio and Television University and the original separation of Zhongshan University, an independent school. September 2003, with the strong support of the relevant government departments of the municipal government, Zhongshan Radio and Television University successfully completed the repair of buildings and moved into the new campus.
