文学传统构成了后人文学活动由以出发的必要起点 ,但文学传统也离不开个人才能 ,文学传统只有是在那些具有非凡才能和创新精神的“卡里斯玛”型天才人物手中方能生生不息地得到延传。天才人物在文学传统革故鼎新的过程中首开风气、建立规则 ,但又不将传统和规则概念化 ,他只是提供一种典范。这种天才人物所建立的典范又不与理性活动势不两立 ,它以理性为基础又超越了理性 ,扬弃了理性却又将理性保存于自身之中
