南京师范学院《文教资料简报》一九八一年第二期摘载了哈晓斯发表于同年二月二十八日《安徽大学校刊》的《夏衍同志谈蒋光慈》一文。《简报》中说,哈晓斯不久前曾经走访夏衍同志。夏衍同志谈到蒋光慈的党籍时,这样说:“蒋光慈同志没有被开除党籍,这一点我可以证明,还有阳翰笙同志也可以证明。可惜,现在只有人证没有物证了。当时我和蒋光慈同住一幢楼里,平时经常见面。我记得当时只给他以党内警告处分,主要原因有两点:一是他在一九二九年发表的小说《丽莎的哀怨》,在当时产生了不好的影响;二是因为他不愿参加组织活动,主要的也就是搞飞行集会、游行示威那一套。”
