校园网的建设受到市、区两级领导高度重视,于10月20日正式开通,历时10个月。共设信息点350多个,主干采用基于100兆交换技术的快速以太网,通过多模光纤将校园内的建筑群连接到一起,桌面采用交换的10M端口。奥创利(Ortranics)结构化综合布线系统和3Com公司网络设备使校园网在保持了先进性与实用性的同时,又有较高的性能与价格比。学校第一期安装两台由IBM公司生产的服务器,已将全校各节点连通,使全校教师共享资源,并感受到电子邮件、电子公告的优越性,学生制作了自己的班级主页和部分个人主页。第二期工程校园网将和上海市中小学信息中心相连,装入学校管理软件、图书管理软件、教师制作的多媒体课件,并能进行广域网浏览。 校园网按功能分为四大板块 1、教学板块
