小镇沿河而建,依水成街,桥街相连。深宅大院,重脊高檐,河埠廊坊,过街骑楼,穿竹石栏,临河水阁,一派古朴幽静。这就是中国第一水乡——周庄。走进周庄,第一印象就是水。河水清澈见底,小船在水中游走,歌声从摇船阿婆的口中唱出,十分悦耳。美中不足的是,我们没有坐船去感受一下这样的周庄。人说船从门前过,而我们游玩的景点——张厅,是船从家中过。张厅院子里有一片泊船的池塘与外面的河相通,小船可以进出自如。这里的河呈井字形,所有的房屋都建在河边,真是小桥流水人家啊!
