茅盾主要的文学生涯中都保持对新诗的关注。茅盾对新诗在文学史上的“合法性”的维护做出了努力,在诗歌理论方面,尤其是诗歌内容的时代生活抒写,诗歌形式的民间歌谣的借鉴等方面都有不可替代的理论构建。
Mao Dun’s main literary career has maintained the concern of the new poetry. Mao Dun made great efforts to preserve the “legitimacy” of the new poems in the literary history. They all have irreplaceable theoretical constructions in terms of the theory of poetry, especially the description of the contents of the poetry in the contemporary era and the folk songs in the form of poetry .
