在我国高纬度的严寒地区,目前建造的日光温室普遍存在光照弱,棚内温度过低等问题,如不进行辅助加温,在元旦前不能生产出喜温性蔬菜,所以有必要对其结构进行改造优化。2011~2013年,在山西省的太原、朔州、忻州、大同、晋中,黑龙江的大庆及蒙古国的乌兰巴托等地推广SF型日光温室的实践证明,高寒区SF型日光温室的采光性、蓄热性、保温性、安全性和稳定性明显优于普通日光温室,在寒冷季节的凌晨棚温平均可达到12℃,实现了高寒地区在不进行人工加温条件下元旦前就能生产出喜温
