抗日战争时期,以毛泽东为代表的中国共产党人对中华民族精神进行了丰富、发展、宣扬与鼓舞,不仅推动了全民族的抗战,并使中华民族精神在抗战的烈火中得到进一步提高和升华。首先,毛泽东把马克思主义确立为现代民族精神的指导思想;其次,他赋予了中华民族精神以新的时代内容———延安精神;第三,他促成了全民族独立意识的形成;第四,他为爱国主义融入了人民性的新鲜血液;最后,他号召中国共产党人要以自己的先锋模范作用做民族精神的集中体现者和优秀代表者。
During the period of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Chinese Communists represented by Mao Zedong enriched, developed, propagandized and encouraged the spirit of the Chinese nation, which not only promoted the entire nation’s war of resistance against Japan but also further enhanced and sublimated the spirit of the Chinese nation in the firestorm of the war of resistance.
