渠县位于四川盆地东部,嘉陵江中下游,是一个幅员面积2013平方公里、总人口128万的丘陵农业大县。我县自1989年被列为长江上游水土保持重点防治区以来,全县已有9个区、25个乡(镇)实施重点治理,共完成治理水土流失面积173平方公里,其中坡改梯2.07万亩,营造水土保持林7.39万亩,其中经济林果1.71万亩,超额完成省下达任务,完成农耕措施14.27万亩,整治山平塘279座,修建蓄水池1028口,开挖排洪沟、沿山沟573.49公里,累计挖填土石方445.05万立方米。治理效益已开始显现,首批治理的10条小流域已治理水土流失面积12.1万亩,年流失泥沙量比治理前减少65.5万吨,增加稻田2070亩;人均产粮由治理前的358.5公斤增加到411公斤;人均纯收入由292元增加
