China Chinese Medicine Newspaper May 5, 2014: The First China MCH and TCM Development Conference was held in Beijing. The conference initiated the establishment of “China Women and Children Health and Chinese Medicine Development Alliance.” The alliance will be established on the basis of provincial MCH centers. The alliance unit will strengthen exchanges and cooperation and make joint efforts to promote the application and development of Chinese medicine in the field of maternal and child health. Wang Guoqiang, deputy director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended the meeting and made a speech. He pointed out that maternal and child health services have a long way to go. Chinese medicine has unique advantages in terms of women's health and child health, and the application of traditional Chinese medicine in maternal and child health is enhanced.
