Introduction - Technology is the key to competition Given the growth of the U.S. trade deficit, many have speculated on the causes of the problems in the competition in the United States. Technology growth and development in the world market competition has a decisive role. The decline in productivity in the United States may have been caused by the declining rate of investment, labor skills and experience, the recent energy and raw material prices, and government regulations and the art of management. Although these factors do affect the productivity growth, the slow innovation is the main reason for the decline in the production growth rate.
