全美中学生篮球协会主席罗伯特L·麦特卡夫博士,是一位热爱篮球运动、经验丰富、敬业精神很强的老教练。从1980年起,他多次到中国讲学、带队,先后执教过前卫青年男子篮球队、辽宁省青年男篮和沈阳部队青年篮球队。1994年10月9日—29日应中国大学生篮球协会邀请,在昆明工学院讲学。此时正值亚运会举行期间,麦特卡夫先生根据他所看到的亚运会篮球比赛情况,结合他十几年来多次到中国的观察和了解,就如何改进中国篮球谈了自己的观点。
Dr. Robert L. Matt Kraft, president of the National Basketball Association, is a seasoned basketball enthusiast with a passion for basketball.
