OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of gestational hypertension on maternal and infant outcomes. Methods: A total of 224 pregnant women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy were randomly selected in our hospital from February 2013 to February 2015. At the same time, 224 pregnant women with non-pregnancy-induced hypertension who were treated at the same time were randomly selected, The two groups of maternal complications and postpartum rehabilitation as well as the status of perinatal children were observed. Results: The incidence of complications in pregnant women with gestational hypertension was 81.9% in 224 cases and 7.9% in controls. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Compared with the control group, gestational hypertension group was more serious in perinatal preterm birth, asphyxia and fetal distress, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions: Hypertensive disorders in pregnancy can lead to maternal and infant outcomes that require correlative measures.
