这盆黄杨是笔者20多年前在废弃的绿篱中挑选一株进行移栽培育,再一分为二得来的。当时因母株造型需要,将桩劈开形成剖面,通过雕刻,催古提高品味。在劈桩时多余部分有小枝、嫩芽,于是就将其带根分开栽植,又培育一盆小型盆景。该桩分栽成活后(也就是现在的主干)笔者用棕丝对干、枝进行了简易弯曲、绑扎(没有扎片)放养,历经20多年。这盆昔日分开的小黄杨桩,随着岁月的变迁,不算太粗的干、枝,现已变得日渐老辣,光滑白净,苍劲而富有一定韵
