20世纪,轻武器征战沙场,成千上万的血肉之躯横卧在机枪、冲锋枪……前,今天想起都令人胆寒。技术革命推进了人类文明进程,那种肉搏战争将一去不复返。20世纪末的几场局部战争,改变了传统的作战模式,尤其是1999年的科索沃战争留给了我们广阔的思维空间:战争不再是以手持着轻武器的步兵而决定胜负;攻击目标转向大型面目标,“0”伤亡不再是不现实的梦想。这种变化来得如此之快、之猛,使任何关注轻武器发展的人,都在调整视角,关注战争形态的演变,重新审视轻武器。
