Trapezoid-shaped waveguide band-stop filters are typically implemented using a series-coupled E-short waveguide with a patch coupling along an odd multiple of a quarter-wavelength of the waveguide spacing [1] - [7]. Coupled diaphragm short waveguide constitutes a resonant circuit tuned to a given stop-band frequency ■ and determined according to the design process to provide a certain slope of the susceptance at resonance. Due to the lack of ready-made information on the precise design of the diaphragm dimensions, heuristics need to be heuristically adjusted after processing. Use a side arm open E-plane that has the same height, length, width, and main waveguide
