《十五贯》是昆剧的一个保留剧目。上海昆剧团以此剧参加在北京举行的纪念徽班进京200周年盛大演出活动,实为众望所归的事。上昆的《十五贯》,是在原浙江昆苏剧团的演出本基础上复排的。原浙江昆苏剧团的《十五贯》,是由周传瑛、王传淞两位“传”字辈艺术家领衔主演的。此剧自1956年在杭州首次公演以来,一炮打红,后又进上海、赴北京,引起轰动,出现了“京华争说《十五贯》”的盛况,并被周总理誉为“一出戏救活了一个剧种”,以后又拍成彩色艺术片。上海昆剧团于1978年曾上演过此剧。这次复排,北京的有关专家和上海市文化局
“Fifteenth Consistent” is a reserved drama of Kunju Opera.
