新生儿脓毒症病死率为10%~50%;存活者部分存在后遗症~([1])。随着新型抗生素在临床的广泛应用,致病菌的耐药性也不断增强,新生儿特别是早产低出生体重儿由于免疫功能低下,抗生素疗效受到一定限制,脓毒症易出现多器官功能障碍综合征。虽然近十余年世界各国投入大量精力致力于脓毒症的研究工作,然而大多数只针对成年人脓毒症,对小儿脓毒症特别是新生儿脓毒症早期诊断、治疗及与成年人脓毒症的鉴别与治疗手段等方面的差异还有待深入研

They are very useful in early diagnosis and treatment of pediatric sepsis, especially neonatal sepsis, Differentiation and treatment of sepsis and other differences still need further study
