A novel Schiff base, N,N-bis[2-(2-iminoantipyrinephenoxy)ethl]-p-toluenesulfonamide(BIAET), was synthesized and characterized, and a carbon paste electrode modified with BIAETwas prepared and employed for quantitation of lead. The linear range, precision, limit of detectionand interference have been investigated.
