(一) 二十世纪,对于中华民族和中国人民来说,是一个具有巨大历史性转变的世纪。从世纪初到世纪末,不过是人类历史长河中的一个瞬间,一个片断;然而在近现代中国的历史上,却演出了一幕幕深深地铭刻在中国人记忆中的慷慨悲歌和壮丽诗篇。近现代中国的主旋律是救亡图存和振兴中华。这是若干代人为救国救民,奔走呼号,几经挫折,英勇奋斗的目标。七十年前发生的五四运动,正是这个主旋律中最强的一个音符,它已经激荡了大半个世纪的中国。五四运动揭开了现代中国的序幕,促使中华民族和中国人民的空前觉醒。五四运动作为反帝反封建的爱国运动已经成为历史。但五四运动的精神却留存下来,激励着一代又一代的仁人志士,投身于时代的潮流中,投身于革命,投身于民族独守和解放事业。
(I) The twentieth century was a century of great historic change for the Chinese nation and the Chinese people. From the beginning of the century to the end of the century, it is only an instant and a fragment in the long history of mankind. However, in the history of modern China, there has been a series of generous songs of angels and magnificent poems profoundly engraved in Chinese memory. The theme of modern China is to save the nation and rejuvenate China. This is the goal of several generations of people fighting for help and saving the country, running letters, after many setbacks, heroic struggle. The May Fourth Movement, seventy years ago, was the strongest note in this theme. It has stirred China for more than half a century. The May 4th Movement opened the prelude to modern China and prompted an unprecedented awakening of the Chinese nation and the Chinese people. The May Fourth Movement as an Anti-imperialist and Anti-feudal Patriotic Movement Has Become History. However, the spirit of the May 4th Movement has survived, inspired generations of benevolent lofty ideals, devoted themselves to the trend of the times, engaged in revolution and devoted themselves to the cause of national independence and liberation.
