Land and Freedom Society is a famous revolutionary Narodnik organization in modern Russian history. It carried out a wide range of revolutionary struggles against the tsarist autocracy and was called by Lenin to be “an excellent organization that we should all take as exemplary models.” It was founded in 1876, it was the climax of the Narodnik movement and the unprecedented class contradictions between the Russian people and the tsarist ruling class. However, only three years later, in 1879, the Land and the Free Trade Union were openly divided into “public opinion party” and "land division
