SUNDisk和索尼于2003年1月10日发表了新型IC存贮介质——“记忆棒PRO”。它是由两家公司从2001年9月开始共同开发的,是自1998年秋季以来作为数码相机、掌上电脑、便携式音响的记忆棒存储介质的后续产品。 记忆棒PRO规格最大可以支持32GB的记录容量,最高数据传输速度为160Mbit/秒,比现在记忆棒速度提高了7倍。另外,其最低数据记录速度为15Mbit/秒,可以支持实时记录DVD画质的高质量动画用途。
SUNDisk and Sony released the new IC storage medium “Memory Stick PRO” on January 10, 2003. Developed jointly by the two companies since September 2001, it is a successor to memory stick storage media for digital cameras, PDAs and portable audio since the fall of 1998. Memory Stick PRO specifications can support up to 32GB of recording capacity, the maximum data transfer speed of 160Mbit / s, than the current memory stick speed increased by 7 times. In addition, its minimum data recording speed of 15Mbit / sec, can support real-time recording DVD quality high-quality animation purposes.
