实验研究了聚光太阳电池的输出开路电压随电池与透镜间距变化规律,结果发现开路电压随间距的变化出现了峰值;理论分析证实了此峰值是由于输出开路电压随间距成高斯分布,通过拟合实验结果发现最大输出电压为光聚焦到电池耗尽区。此外,实验结合理论分析,研究了最大输出开路电压随光照度的变化关系,得出最大开路电压随光强变化成对数关系。此项研究对于当前聚焦光伏系统的设计和研究具有重要的指导意义。
研究了一种新改进的折射率导光光子晶体光纤的色散性能。研究表明当纤芯空气孔的孔径小于包层空气孔孔径时, 光子晶体光纤仍然通过全内反射（TIR）导光。采用全矢量平面波展开法分析光子晶体光纤的色散特性, 并设计了波长为1360 nm到1730 nm时, 色散值在-10±0.5 ps/（nm·km）之间的色散平坦光子晶体光纤, 其色散斜率在波长为1370～1740 nm时可达±0.01 ps/nm2/km。
