THE Baiyinnuo skarn-type lead-zinc deposit occurs within the Da Hinggan Mountains, in theBalinzuo County 360 km north of the Chifeng City, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Skarns minerals and relevant igneous rocks in the deposits are extremely depleted in ~(18)O. Thephenomena are also found in other skarn-type lead-zinc deposits in the Baiyinnuo region andshould be further studied.
