机夹扁钻是一种先进刀具,用它加工深孔、大孔,与麻花钻相比,有许多独特的优点: (1)生产效率高。扁钻在加工φ25mm以上的大孔时,不用打中心孔和预钻,就能一次钻通。西德马迪森(Madison)公司用扁钻直接打出φ140mm的大孔,说明扁钻的潜力很大。 (2)刀具成本低。扁钻只有刀片是用高速钢或硬质合金制造的,能节省大量的贵重金属材料。 (3)能降低刀刃温度。钻杆设有内冷却孔,冷却液能大量流入切削区。 (4)刀具寿命长。快换扁钻的刀片能重磨10～20次。机夹扁钻由刀片和钻杆组成,如图1所示。它能加工φ20以上的各种孔。根据刀片结构,机夹扁钻分为:A快换的;B可转位的;C硬质合金的。这种刀
